How to make a right triangle in illustrator
A right triangle is a triangle with one angle measuring 90 degrees. It is the only type of triangle where you have three sides and three angles.
A right angle can be identified by drawing an “X” across the corner of the triangle. This makes it so that if you cut off the corner, then you would have two triangles instead of one.
The hypotenuse is the longest side in a right triangle and it’s opposite to the 90 degree angle.
The legs are also opposites because they are on either side of the 90 degree angle but not directly across from each other like with 4-sided polygons or squares where perpendicular means diagonally opposed.
